College Computer Facilities

CVM Computer Labs
The Computer Lab (W234O) and Histology Lab (W240), located in the Vet Med Building, are open 7:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday, except for University holidays.  These rooms are heavily used during the day.  Each room has a schedule of events posted.  Be sure to review the calendar before entering.  During exams, testing signs are clearly posted—please abide by the signs and DO NOT enter until the signs have been removed.

All CVM personnel and students have 24 hour access to the computer labs with their CVM ID cards. If you are experiencing access problems, please see Stephanie Bossaller in W-234 Vet. Med. Building.

Other University employees and students have access to our computer labs during Vet Med Library Hours.

Food, Drink, and Animals are NOT allowed at any time in these rooms.

Testing/Study Room
This room (located in W216, down the hall from the VM1 & VM2 mailboxes) is a secure room accessible with your ID badge 24 hours a day. There are four individual private rooms inside, each with a computer, and five computers in open cubicles. The room is reserved for testing, however when not in use can be used as a quiet place for studying.  During a scheduled testing time ALL unauthorized card access is blocked; only scheduled testers and instructors will have access. Be sure to note the unavailable times on the door calendar before you start to study in this room.

Food, Drink, and Animals are NOT allowed at any time in this room.

Student Printing
Printers are available for student use in the Computer Lab.  Students can check Print Smart Account status by going to https://iatsapps.missouri.edu/eclipse-usage/login.aspx.  For general information regarding Print Smart, please visit http://doit.missouri.edu/services/printing-faxing/print-smart.

Access to Publications
In order to view or print copies of articles in PUBMED that the CVM has access to, you must access PUBMED through the campus library websites and not through the standard PUBMED internet site. When you go directly to PUBMED there is no way for the publisher to know that you are covered by the University’s paid subscription, hence they will want to charge you.
